Currently Available For Rehoming
We have several wonderful cats in our care that have made their way to us through no fault of their own. All of the cats pictured below are looking for their forever homes. If you are that special person and would like to adopt one of these beautiful cats, please email us at: –

Perry
Beautiful boy Perry arrived at the sanctuary in August 2024, alongside his sister Millie and two other semi-feral cats from Peterlee. Perry is very shy and loves to snuggle and seek shelter in his bed. He has spent far too long at the sanctuary and is desperately seeking his forever home. The right person will give Perry plenty of love and the patience he deserves to settle and learn to become a pet cat. Perry can be rehomed with his sister Millie or on his own.
- Can live with other cats
- Can live with a cat savvy dog
- Can live with older children (or adult only household due to their timid nature at present)
- Can live in a home with access to outdoors, after a 4 week minimum settling in period
Perry has been neutered and spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for parasites. Home checks and adoption fees apply.

Millie
Sweet girl Millie has been waiting for the right human to come along and sweep her off her paws. Millie is a shy girl and life at the sanctuary is not the best for her needs. She is crying out for a warm snuggly bed and plenty of treats to bring her round to life as a pet cat. Millie arrived at the sanctuary with Perry in August 2024, alongside two other semi-feral cats from a colony in Peterlee who have since been rehomed. Now it is Millie’s turn. Millie can be rehomed with Perry or on her own.
- Can live with other cats
- Can live with a cat savvy dog
- Can live with older children (or an adult only household due to her shy personality at present)

Millie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for parasites. Home checks and an adoption fee applies.

Belle
Beauty by name, Belle is now ready to find her forever home. She was part of the semi-feral girl colony brought in from Hartlepool. Belle was being support fed along with other cats in the colony, however that support feeding was soon to end and so we brought her to the sanctuary for her chance to live a happy domestic life. Belle, like her fellow cats from the colony, is currently very timid with people, but sociable alongside other cats. With the right adult-only home and with plenty of patience and time, Belle will become a wonderful addition to a family. Belle can be adopted on her own, or along with Josie and Macy.
- Good with other cats
- Could be rehomed with a cat savvy dog
- Could go outside after a 4 week settling in period
- Adult only home
Belle has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for parasites. Home checks and an adoption fee applies.

Freddie
Everyone meet Freddie! Freddie has been with us at the sanctuary since November 2024 after living life as a feral cat. He was possibly struggling as he was found seeking shelter in our neighbour’s laundry room. Freddie is very timid and is not used to interacting with people, but we are sure, as with many other feral cats we have worked with, given plenty of time and care he will come round.
- We would suggest no children in Freddie’s ideal home due to his very timid nature
- Could live with other cats if introduced carefully
- Could live with a cat savvy dog (with gentle introductions)
- Access to outdoors after a minimum 4 week settling in period
Freddie has been neutered, had the first round of vaccinations, treated for parasites and microchipped. As with all of our cats to be rehomed, a home check and adoption fee applies.

Alice
Meet Alice, a strikingly beautiful calico cat who has been brought in from a semi-feral colony in Saltburn. She has two kittens (Cagney and Lacey also available for rehoming). Alice is very timid and wary of people, but we are sure that in the right home she would gradually come to grow fond of the finer things in life and to not have to fend for herself and her kittens anymore. We estimate Alice’s age to be only 3 years old. Will you be the one to give Alice the home she has been waiting for?
- Can be rehomed with her two kittens or individually.
- Could be rehomed with other cats under careful introductions.
- Could be rehomed with a cat savvy dog.
- No children.

Cagney (along with her brother Lacey) and their mother Alice were brought to the sanctuary along with other semi-feral cats from a colony who were being support fed in Saltburn. They are gentle, but timid cats for semi-ferals. We estimate their ages to be approximately 8 months old. Sweet Cagney can be rehomed together with her brother Lacey or on her own. These two black and white cuties are estimated to be around 8 months old. They are shy and are waiting to start living their best lives in a forever home, as the sanctuary is not the best environment for them. Cagney and Lacey can be rehomed together or individually. Linda (and Frankie)
Stunning mother Linda and her beautiful daughter Frankie are looking for their forever home together. They were brought to the sanctuary from the semi-feral colony who were being support fed in Saltburn. Currently, they are wary of people, but this is because they need patience and time (and a warm comfy sofa to snuggle on) in a quiet home. They were brought to the sanctuary from the semi-feral colony who were being support fed in Saltburn. Frankie has a white fur ‘bib’ on her chest, which is how we can tell her and Linda apart. Currently, they are both wary of people, but this is because they need patience and time (and a warm comfy sofa to snuggle on) in a quiet home. If you have a big heart and big comfy sofa for this beautiful pair please get in touch.

Monty
Monty needs no introduction. He is the father of Cagney, Lacey and Frankie and the patriarch of the semi-feral colony rescued from Saltburn. Sadly for Monty his days of fathering kittens are now behind him. His focus is now on finding a home where he can be loved and treated like the prince he is. Stunning Monty is very wary of people, but he is being introduced to contact whilst here at the sanctuary and we are sure that he will become settled, with time and patience, in a loving home. Skye (and Inky)
Skye and Inky are looking for their forever home. Being mother (Skye) and daughter (Inky) we wish to keep them together. They are semi-feral cats and are timid at present. As Inky is such a young kitten we feel she will tame more quickly and she has already accepted some fuss from our volunteers. Stormy
Stunning tabby cat Stormy has arrived at the sanctuary after being surrendered to us as her elderly owner could no longer afford her upkeep, along with two other male cats Michael and Sam. Stormy is not happy at all being with us here and she is longing to be in a secure loving forever home. We are still learning about Stormy’s personality, but we know she isn’t showing her true behaviour as she is finding the cattery environment stressful after the upheaval she has experienced. We do know that she was previously living as a house cat in a quiet home. We also estimate her age to be a few years old. We are happy to offer trial adoptions for a week or two. Stormy, Michael and Sam can be rehomed together or separately.
- Offering a 1week to 2 week trial adoption for a potential owner to see how Stormy interacts as we are not yet able to advise suitability in a specific home.
- Access to outdoors after a minimum 4 week settling in period
Stormy has been spayed and microchipped, had the first round of vaccinations and treated for parasites. As with all of our cats to be rehomed, a home check and adoption fee applies.

Michael
Handsome boy Michael has arrived at the sanctuary after being surrendered to us as his elderly owner could no longer afford his upkeep, along with two other cats Stormy and Sam. Black cat Michael is not happy at all being with us here and he is longing to be in a secure loving forever home. We estimate his age to only be a few years old and we are still learning about Michael’s personality. It is unsurprising, as he was previously settled living as a house cat in a quiet home. We are happy to offer trial adoptions for a week or two. Michael, Stormy and Sam can be rehomed together or separately. Contact us today so that Michael can get used to his new forever home and live his life to the full once again.

Poor Sam is not happy at all in the cattery environment, as he is used to being in a quiet home with Stormy and Michael. Sam’s exact age is unknown but we estimate to be a few years. He can be rehomed individually or alongside Stormy and Michael. Can you help young Sam with a second chance at happiness? Get in touch with us today.
