Mark
Meet Mark – ready for his forever home 💙
Handsome Mark is a brave, gentle soul who is ready to begin living his best life enjoying cuddles with his favourite people and eating delicious food in the comfort of his own home. Mark came to the sanctuary as a semi-feral cat and has won our hearts by showing us his trusting side already. He is not a happy boy living at the sanctuary and so the sooner he can be in his forever home the better. Mark would thrive in a child-free home where he can be the centre of attention. If you can offer Mark the peaceful, loving home he deserves please get in touch today.
Mark needs :-
- Minimum 4 week settling in period and then access to outdoor space
- No young children, but could live with sensible older children/teenagers
- Could live with a cat savvy dog
- Could live with other cats

George & Georgie
Meet George & Georgie – a lovely pair waiting for their forever home 💛
Here we have the beautiful George and Georgie. After years surviving outdoors in Ruswarp, these two gorgeous cats are finally safe, healthy and ready for a loving home together. Georgie is the resilient female mother who evaded rescue efforts for over two years. By her side is George, a gentle, friendly Tom who has lived homeless in the same area for 3-4 years. Georgie gets her confidence from him. He is a loving calming influence for her. From the moment they arrived it was clear, Georgie and George belong together. They share a calm companionship that only long-term survivors can. Georgie only has one eye-likely a congenital issue, but she manages beautifully. George is a total sweetheart who loves humans and is grateful for warmth and kindness. They need a quiet, patient home that will give this pair the safety, routine and affection they’ve waited years to find.

Georgie and George have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, treated for parasites and have started their vaccinations.

Scott
Meet Scott – looking for his forever home 💙
Scott is a lovely, friendly lad who has come a long way since his rescue. He was living as part of a colony of alley cats in Middlesbrough, surviving in a very rough area affected by fly-tipping, rubbish and broken glass. The cats were sheltering in and out of old buildings with broken windows – not a safe place for any animal. This is an area we are currently working in and I’m sure you will all see more of these Middlesbrough alley cats as we continue to trap and take them in.
A kind local resident tried to rehome Scott themselves, but in the end felt they couldn’t do right by him and reached out to us for help. We’re so glad they did.
We were told Scott didn’t get on with other cats, but since coming into our care he has been sharing accommodation with Holly (another alley cat from the same area also available for adoption) – and the two are getting along just fine. Sometimes cats just need the right environment and a fresh start.
About Scott:
✔️ Neutered & Vaccinations started
✔️ Microchipped & Treated for parasites
✔️ Friendly and affectionate
✔️ Ready for a loving home
Ideal home for Scott:-
Scott would love a calm, caring home where he can feel safe and secure after such a tough start. He may suit a home as an only cat or with a calm, friendly feline companion. We’re happy to discuss this with potential adopters and help find the right match.
If you think Scott could be the one for you, please get in touch.

Will
Meet Will – a quiet soul looking for a patient home 💙
Will is a young male cat who came into our care after spending several weeks living under a shed. He’s had a tough start and is still learning that the world can be a safe place, but with time and kindness, he has so much potential.
About Will:-
✅ Young male, castrated
✅ Vaccinations started
✅ Microchipped
✅ Fully treated for parasites and vet health checked
Will is a semi-feral kitten, approximately 5 months old and will need a calm, understanding home with someone experienced (or willing to learn) who will let him move at his own pace. He may not be a lap cat right away, but with patience, routine and gentle handling, he can continue to build confidence. Will would do best in a quiet household, ideally with access to a secure space where he can feel safe while he settles in.
🏡 If you’re looking to help a shy youngster blossom and are happy to give him the time he needs, Will could be your perfect match.

Ken
Meet Ken – looking for his forever home 💙
Ken came into our care from the same Scarborough rescue group as Speedy and Steve. He has come from a background where human contact was limited, so the world is still a little overwhelming for him. Ken is a quiet, reserved boy who prefers to observe rather than rush in. He isn’t demanding or attention-seeking, but he does appreciate calm surroundings and gentle handling. With patience and understanding, Ken will continue to gain confidence at his own pace. He would suit someone who understands cats that need time and who finds reward in watching small steps turn into big progress.
About Ken:-
✅ Male, castrated
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Microchipped
✅ Treated for parasites
🏡 Ideal home:
- Calm, quiet household
- Patient adopters who will allow Ken to settle in his own time

Steve is a shy, quiet boy who is still learning to relax fully around people. He has made lovely progress with us and is now accepting gentle contact, but he will need a home that understands semi-feral behaviour and is happy to let him set the pace. Steve is not a cuddly lap cat (yet!) But with patience, consistency and time, he has the potential to be once trust has been built.
About Steve:-
✅ Male, castrated

Speedy
Speedy is a 13-year-old sweetheart looking for a loving forever home 💕
She was rescued after her owner sadly passed away. Her owner had been caring for a small colony of semi-feral cats from her garage in Scarborough, and Speedy was one of the lucky ones who learned that humans can be kind.
Despite her background, Speedy is exceptionally friendly – calm, affectionate, and happy to spend time with people. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, loving cat. She gets on with other cats and would suit a family home.

A quiet, loving home where Speedy can enjoy her golden years with comfort and affection.

Percy
Percy is looking for a patient, understanding forever home 💙
He was rescued after being found living as a stray on an industrial estate in Stokesley. It’s believed that cats, including Percy, were let loose into the area by a nearby travellers community, leaving cats confused, vulnerable, and without care.
Percy is a shy boy, and will need a calm home where he’s allowed to settle at his own pace. With time, kindness, and consistency, he has the potential to blossom into a lovely companion.
✅ Castrated
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Microchipped
✅ Treated for parasites
🏡 Ideal Home:
A quiet, patient home with someone who understands shy cats and will give Percy the time and space he needs to feel safe.

Holly
Meet Holly – a quiet soul looking for a patient home
Holly is a beautiful, timid girl who came into our care from the same Middlesbrough alley cat colony as Scott. This area has been badly affected by fly tipping, rubbish and broken glass, with cats sheltering in unsafe, abandoned buildings with broken windows. Holly has known very little kindness in her life so far, and it shows in her shy nature.
Unlike Scott, Holly is much more reserved and will need time, patience and understanding to truly settle and trust. She is not aggressive – just cautious, and easily overwhelmed. With the right person and a calm home, we believe she will continue to blossom at her own pace.
About Holly:
✔️ Spayed
✔️ Microchipped & Treated for parasites
✔️ Vaccinations started
✔️ Shy and needs a patient home to help bring her on
Holly has been housed with Scott, another cat from the same alley colony, and they are getting along well. She may benefit from a quiet home and could potentially live with a calm, friendly cat.
Ideal home for Holly:
• A quiet, adult-only or low-traffic home
• An adopter who understands shy or semi-feral cats
• Someone willing to let Holly set the pace and not expect instant affection
• A secure indoor home or safe, managed outdoor access once settled
If you think you could offer Holly the patience and safety she deserves, please get in touch.
As with all the cats to be rehomed, a home check and adoption fee applies.
